If there is one complaint I hear on a semi-regular basis, it is the density of the rough. We mow all roughs twice a week at a height of 2". It is not feasible to mow Kentucky Bluegrass much lower without creating a host of other problems. However, we are making a better effort to mix up the times in which we mow rough. Hopefully through better timing, the roughs will play more consistent.
