This morning is shaping up to be one of those mornings! Storm clean up and equipment trouble. We set out today to spray all tees and fairways with a fertilizer/ fungicide combination before golf starts. Once we got to the 5th hole, our sprayer went down. It's back in the shop and our mechanics are on it! As I said, they are the best in the business! Most courses, this would mean we would be out of luck for a few days. However, even though we lost an hour, we are right back out there....and that is the value of a top notch technician! It's about knowing potential trouble ahead of time and having the right parts in inventory to fix about anything.
The past couple weeks, our days are shortened due to afternoon storms. We need to maximize the amount we get done before our typical afternoon weather sets in.
