Native Fescue Areas

Ever since we diagnosed a grub problem and treated these fescue beds, they have really taken a turn for the better.  Sunday, the beds were treated preventatively for white grubs.  Again, white grubs are the destructive larval stage of various beetles; Japanese beetles being the most prominent.  Adult beetles lay eggs in June with the hatch coming in late summer.  It is important to have a chemical treatment in place prior to egg hatch.
