Thursday

At this morning's green committee meeting we talked about beautifying this are on #17 below the cart path.  The water is backed up here creating an environment not ideal for Rhododendron and other trees.  I am recommending we go in here and cut down the dead and or dying plant material and replace it with trees like river birches and bald cypress.  Both create a great screen and do well in very wet environments.

Our flower girl, Carla Gates, just finished all of our pots!  I think you will agree that the end result is fantastic.  Carla has a gift for this.  Pictured here are the new pots on the columns at the driving range entrance.
