#17 Skip Laurel

On the 17th hole, we removed one cluster of the Skip Laurel that died as a result of winter kill.  The green committee discussed this in length and decide to remove the shrubs and leave the area covered in pinestraw until we can determine to proceed with another group of plantings or if we can simply do without any plants and simply grass the area.  We worked with a local landscape architect and have a design in place should we decide to move forward.  The plantings do offer some screening for golfers on the 18th tee or those on the 17th green.
