#12 fairway aerification

This morning we aerified the 12th fairway. As you know, this fwy has always been a challenge for a number of reasons including cart traffic and a poor quality root zone material. Therefore, by constantly aerifying and topdressing the fwy with good sand, we hope to change the upper rootzone. We use our greens aerifier because even though it is very labor intensive, we can get a closer hole spacing. simply put, the more holes, the better the effect.
