Once again this morning we arrive to find another 1.5" of rain in the gauge, raising our total to 5.5" over the past few days. Often times with this amount of rain the soil reaches what is called saturation where the pores in the soil become filled completely leaving no room for excess water to be soaked into the soil which results in very wet conditions. There is still a large chance of rain throughout today, hopefully the end of the week will offer some drying time for the course!
