RAIN-The benefits of
Well, the rain is certainly getting a bit old. We are trying to use it to our advantage though. We have spread our monthly application of Calcitic Lime on the greens. We spread 24-5-11 fertilizer on weak rough areas. We fertilized greens with our monthly 0-0-12 Potasium fertilizer. We sprayed greens with a preventative application for Pythium Root Rot with Banol and Terrazole. All of these processes require that these products be "watered in" so they become taken up by the roots of the plants. This means they need to be either irrigated or applied in the rain. We figure we will take advantage of it while we have plently of it!
