With the heat this summer, aquatic weeds were a bigger issue in a couple ponds. We treat monthly for this but it there is a delicate balance because of our fish populations. Also, we are limited as to what herbicides can be used during times of drought. These ponds eventually lead to our irrigation lake and we certainly do not want to be pumping that onto the turf. You can see by the photo, we manually got out there and removed the vegetation in the #1 pond.
