Circle Cutting Fairways

One of the best ways to get a great cut on fairways is to circle cut. I started this practice 4 years ago with great success. It is a practice more common on Bermudagrass fairways but found it particularly beneficial on our Bentgrass/Poa annua fairways as well. Each operator starts at different ends of the fairway and cuts continuous circles until they meet in the middle. This cuts the grass is about 5-6 different directions. The end benefit is a fairway with upright growing turf which supports a golf ball much better.
