Last week I drove to Greenville , SC to look at trees at Merritt Bros Tree Farm. I tagged 13, 30 foot tall pin oaks that will be delivered next week. The trees will be dug with a 60" to 90" tree spade and deliver to HCC on a tractor and trailer. The beautiful trees will be strategically planted on holes 5,9,11,14 and 17 based on recommendations of Billy Fuller and Tom Marsolf. Stay tuned for pictures next week!
Merritt Bros Tree farm is responsible for the planting of the Pines at Augusta National. I worked with Merritt Bros during my time at Augusta National in 2000.
