After spending 3 days at the 2012 Golf Industry Show in Las Vegas, I am recharged and ready to get back to the club. This annual event is an opportunity to take continuing education classes to maintain my certification and it is a great networking opportunity. It gives me a chance to talk to other superintendents in the country and compare notes. It also gives me an opportunity to catch up with the many mentors I have had coming up through the industry. This equates to value for Highlands CC and me personally. We are grateful the club recognizes the value in this annual event!
