This morning, we are making one of two preventative snow mold fungicide applications to the golf course tees and putting greens this off-season. Snow mold is an easy fungus to control preventatively however, curative applications of fungicides can be challenging. The disease is more prevalent in late winter in Highlands, but it's good to be covered all winter. Highlands winter weather is all over the place in recent years, making any kind of predictive modeling very difficult.
