Wednesday

Unfortunately, heavy wind and rain is forecasted for this evening.  We've already cleaned up the golf course 3 times this spring and it sounds like we'll be doing it again after this system moves through. 55 mph gusts and over 1" of rain is apparently on its way.

Above and below, all the sod has been removed from #15 green surrounds.  We are waiting on a few loads of sod to get this project wrapped up.  The challenge now has become shipping and a shortage of trucks to make deliveries.  I am working with a local outfit to haul the sod for us.  We'll see how that goes in a few days. This spring has turned into a real challenge over the past 2 weeks for a variety of reasons.

The sand and drainage are being removed from the bunker on #5.  This bunker will be made larger in addition to a new fairway bunker being constructed on the right side of the fairway.  Back on #17, new drainage is going in on the bunker on the right side of the fairway.

Above, you can see the expansion of the existing forward tee on #13.  This tee has grown 10 yards in length, closer to the green.
