The 7-day forecast is looking promising this week. We are ready to return to those short-sleeve afternoons! We always seem to be far more productive on those days!
As promised, the croquet lawns were aerated today and topdressed with sand. The lawns will remain closed for the entire day. Late this afternoon, provided the sand has the ability to dry, we will "drag" the lawns with a brush to work the sand into the aeration holes. Once that is complete, the lawns will be well on their way to being playable again. All three lawns were fertilized last week with a healthy dose of nutrients to help them recover from the winter play. A couple of the lawns really took a beating this past winter and it will take some warm weather and time for them to recover.
