If you are interested in taking advantage of the new fiber for Town of Highlands residents, the day is just about here! Hotwire Communications is set to launch their platform during the first week of May in Highlands. Keep up to date on this by following both Highlands Newspapers. They will have information in the coming weeks. Hotwire, the private company that partnered with the town, will be taking it from here. The city was responsible for getting the above ground fiber installed on the utility poles and building the network. The Town of Highlands will have no involvement or responsibility to manage accounts or hook up new accounts. In the coming weeks, Hotwire will have an in-town office location that you'll be able to stop in to request services or pay bills etc. They will also have their own staff of 6-10 that will manage all things associated with the service.
