Finally... The 18th hole is complete! Another 9,000 square feet was installed today.

Bunker work has commenced on the 17th hole.
After the hard freeze and wind that we had on March 12th, a weird phenomenon has occurred in some of our roughs, particularly the newer Bluegrass that's been recently installed. As you can see, we've gone to tiger stripes! This is just a temporary, visual occurrence and the turf will grow out of it. You may have seen similar effects on Bermudagrass in the fall at your home club. The reason for it is not fully understood but it's pretty interesting to say the least. This is the first time I've seen this on cool season turf.
