Today, our golf course architect, Ron Forse, was on site all day. The purpose of the visit was to look at bunker modifications and new forward tees. We went through a dozen cans of paint, marking the ground with where the new features will be located. The back nine irrigation system is our primary project this winter and once that project slowly comes to an end, we are going to tackle as many of the bunkers and forward tees as possible with hopes of getting all complete. That will be a tall task as we are at the mercy of Mother Nature and also, we are only able to house the contractor's staff until April 1st. By tomorrow afternoon, they will have the 11th hole wrapped up; a total of 3 holes will then be complete. That leaves 6 holes that will take about 4-5 weeks to finish. At that point, a portion of their labor will transition to these other projects. We remain optimistic that we can get it done!
