As planned, 10,000 square feet of sod was delivered which allowed us to finish a majority of our project on the 8th hole. Once again, this is going to be well received by a majority of members this spring! We are excited for you to see this improvement first hand. Below are a handful of photographs from different perspectives of the project.
We also spent some time today documenting the proposed changes to the bunkers as well as the new forward tee locations. You can see a few photographs below where the shape of some bunkers will change. The white line is the is called the "top line" of the bunker, which is NOT the edge of the sand. The top line is the top of the grass slope that ultimately leads down to the edge of the sand. In short, the sand line is anywhere from 1' to 3' inside that white line, on average. See the photos below for a few examples. Not all of the bunkers will be enlarged, only about half of them.
Green side bunker on #14.
On #12, the bunker is being enlarged as a way to support a flat approach, reducing the amount of balls that roll back down the fairway.

Irrigation is being installed around the 11th green and #12 tees.
