Underground boring machine on #1 tee.
With a good portion of the snow gone for the time being, we are back at it, installing irrigation lines and sprinkler heads on the back 9 holes. This new system on the back nine has 193 more sprinkler heads compared to the old system. This is because the sprinkler heads are smaller and spaced tighter which equates to better coverage and less water used because we'll be irrigating with much more efficiency. The under ground boring contractor is working on the final bore below Dillard Road that will connect #10 tee to #1 tee. This is the loop that allows the front nine to access irrigation water that originates from Club Lake, on the south side of Dillard Road. Projected completion of the back nine irrigation system is targeted for the 2nd week of March, leaving us one month to complete bunker modifications and the forward tee project.
Green Tee Golf is working installing irrigation around #18 green.
Bridge work on #8 is moving along with the footers complete. The finished bridge will look exactly like the wooden bridge on #10, which has 3"x6" rough sawn lumber as flooring. The lumber was ordered and should arrive either this Friday or the following Friday.
