More From Tuesday...

I flew my drone this afternoon because it was such a beautiful time of day and the sun angles and long shadows were spectacular.  I really like this photo of #14, with the visible grade changes thanks to the shadows!

Above and below, we are finally addressing the perennial wet spots with drainage around the 11th tee!

These three photos of the irrigation project show where we are.  The hardest part of the project is behind us and it's hopefully smooth sailing from here on out. At this point we are right on target with where we wanted to be by this time. Hole #18, securing pipe under the bridge and then hole #10, were all very labor intensive main line installations because of all the utilities we had to cross.  The other 7 holes on the back nine are not like this and thus, there is less hand-digging and slow-digging required, looking for pipes and other infrastructure that might be in the way. Once all the mainline is installed, we'll be trenching all the smaller 2" diameter pipe that services the actual sprinkler heads on the golf course.  Needless to say, this has been a fun project to work on and seeing it coming together.

Lastly, this photo gives you a big picture view of the project at #15 pond.
