All three croquet lawns are being vented this morning with 1/4" hollow tines. The golf course greens were also going to go through the same process but I decided against it at the last minute. The tee sheet is open this morning. After looking at several soil samples and cross sections, I am very happy where we are in terms of roots and density.
Last night, a huge limb broke off the large Oak by the pump station at the corner of Dillard Road and Hudson Road. By late morning, this limb should be cleaned up and out of the way. Young Tree Service will be here later to cut it down.
You can see the resodding of the collar on #2 green. The team did a great job of installing the sod, being sure the seams are tight.
Finally, greens and approaches are getting another light application of topdressing sand this afternoon.
