This year, I've had numerous members ask how much we raised the elevation of #12 fairway. The truth is, it's the exact same it was last year! When I ask, what made you think the elevation changed, the answer is, the rock is closer... It used to be way up the hill. If you look at the rock above, you can see a definitive line of white rock vs. gray rock. The white portion of the rock was buried last year. As part of this project, we excavated more of the rock, inching it closer towards the fairway. The rock itself, is about 30-40% larger than it was in years past giving the illusion that the fairway was raised to a higher elevation.
