More Detailed Photos

It was another chilly 20*F morning in Highlands!

Above and below: you can see the cleaned out area on the right side of #13 cart path.  The area has also been re-graded.



Above: As promised, more work is being accomplished between #14 and #15 where the budget last year prevented us from finishing.  The area will be sodded once the stumps are removed. 

Above and Below: The mouth of #15 pond was excavated to get the bottom of the pond below water level.  This is a spot of constant sediment accumulation from material that erodes on Moorewood Road property.


Here are a few photos of the dredging on #2. As you can see, the spoils are being used to raise the ground around the creek in the area between #2 and #3.  You can see the Mallard family don't seem to be too bothered by the low water level!  Nor by the fact my drone is hovering a few feet above them.  The pond valve is being closed this afternoon and the water level will be back to normal by the end of the day.  Something tells me 25% of the volume of spoils is comprised of golf balls!
