Each spring we rent a hydroseeder to touch up any areas on the golf course with seed. Hydroseed is a mixture of water, fertilizer and of course, seed. The solution adheres to banks and other areas and coats the seed with a recycled paper product that helps keep the seed moist, resulting in faster germination. This is one of the last official projects we do each spring so it is rewarding in the sense that we are wrapping things up and ready for the season. A morning temperature today of 29*F reminds us that winter isn't giving up just yet!
