This time of year, we are doing weekly soap flushes on several fairways where Annual Bluegrass Weevil has been an issue in the past. April is the time of year when overwintering adults start feeding on turf. So far we have yet to see any this spring. The soapy water causes the insects to surface, allowing us to count and evaluate the population and determine is treatment is required.
