Today, one of our projects is using the Toro 648 walk behind aerifier to aerate sections of fairways that are difficult to get with the Tractor over the winter. This also has the added benefit of a closer hole spacing. We aerate fairways on #3, #5, #10 and #12 using this method. It saves a tremendous amount of wear and tear on the fairways and damage we ultimately need to fix.
