The property value of the Golf Course Maintenance Building could have dropped overnight. Its hard to determine if having a view (from my office window) of the Bob Jones carving did in fact impact the value of this building! This morning, what's left is only a reminder of once was...now a pile of rubble. As I type this, my arms are still moving in an up and down motion, with my hands gripping the handles of the jackhammer. Muscle memory, I suppose. It's a nice feeling to know Bob Jones rock will be appreciated much more in his new location.
The pile of rubble shown, are the 2 cubic yards of concrete that once held up the statue when it first arrived in 2009.
