If you ever wondered how athletic fields are sodded, check out this video from a State College, PA weather channel. It shows the process of resodding Beaver Stadium at PSU. When the surface if flat, like a football field, the method used to strip up the old sod is pretty efficient. That is the most time consuming part of our sod work over the winter. It would be nice to be able to use equipment like the one shown. A majority of our sod work won't be done until after we finish bunkers. Bunkers are the priority this winter.
