The above photo was taken this morning. The exterior of the building is nearly complete. We are waiting for the insulation to go in tomorrow, then work will resume on the interior.
This picture was taken from in front of the facility. As you can see, the opening of the hitting area is quite large. The width of the doorway is 16 feet, the height is 11 feet. The hitting mat will be positioned as far forward as functionally possible to give the student the feeling of being unrestricted in their swing. During inclement weather when the door needs to be closed, we have a net that pulls across the room in front of the door. This versatility enables us to use the facility year round.
WHY A DRIVER FITTING MATTERS
In the latest issue of Golf Digest, there is a very interesting article on the importance of being properly fit for a driver. We will have a TrackMan unit in our new facility that uses Doppler radar to measure club and ball information. We use this unit to optimize several conditions that contribute to optimal distance. If you do not have optimal numbers, we can change equipment and or your swing to get you there. Enjoy!
