Every winter our 2 mechanics, Paul and Kevin, dive into a bunch of work to gear us up for the season. Oil changes and other minor maintenance occur year round. We are fortunate enough to have such talented staff that can take on a lot more. In fact, they are rebuilding the transmission in an older piece of equipment we have. There is enough going on the keeps 2 employees busy every day, all year long. In the summer, keeping blades sharpened is their main objective. We have 12 greens, tees and approach walk mowers that require daily attention. In addition to that, we have a triplex and rough mowers that also require sharpening several times a week. In total, Highlands CC has an inventory of nearly $1 million dollars worth of equipment. These guys are truly the heroes behind the scenes and I couldn't go long without them. They keep us running!
