Above are the final surge stone dams built upstream to catch sediment from the Ferguson property. 



With dredging underway, you can see how these sediment bags work.  The water drains out, leaving sediment behind. This bag is 30' wide x 100 ft long. It will become 6' tall when full.  This holds about 700 cubic yards of material or 70 dump truck loads of material. We are planning to use 2 bags to clean these portions of Swan Lake.
