Tuesday

This is our second full week of being with only the winter skeleton crew of 11.  Even though the numbers dropped, the productivity has not.  We are taking advantage of this gorgeous weather.  Tomorrow, we will start the process grinding stumps of trees recently removed and setting a new rock pedestrian bridge on the 15th hole creek.
Above, greens are being deep tined a second time this winter.  The last week has given us mild weather and I am taking advantage of thawed greens!

As I walked the golf course today, I thought this was a really pretty picture of the creek opened up on the 12th hole, a project we did last October.  Drainage will also be enhance by doing this.

Lyn and Chris are finishing up the new curbing that wraps around the 12th green.  This curbing enhances the look and protects the turf at the same time by forcing cart tires to stay on the paths.
Matthew and Kyle are continuing on the creek trimming.  Before today, this creek on #17 was hidden!  Not anymore.  My boys have a talent for this work! As mentioned above, I am pulling them off this tomorrow to begin grinding stumps.  There will be more time for this work later as I rented a chipper for January 5th-30th!  A lot of clean up will take place during that month.
Finally, we are painting the newly constructed railings on the rain shelter at #18 ladies tee.  It looks sharp.  Again, it's all about the details!
