The foundation is coming along on the teaching building. Given the fact the building sits on a slab foundation, the plumbers and electricians need to be sure all their conduit is in place since there is no crawl space to work. This has been time consuming. The plumbers are pressure testing their pipes as well before concrete is poured.
Below, the range tee is put to bed for the year. It was aerified 2 times, topdressed with sand and then dragged with a chain mat. Top dressing offers many benefits including: filling aerification holes with sand creating a seedbed for new turf, leveling the surface, filling divots, protecting the turf from winter winds, diluting the thatch layer and firming the surface.
