Tuesday

The target greens and range tee were mowed for the first time today.  The flags are out and it looks like we are ready for a few golfers.

We are hydroseeding loose ends around the course today.  Primarily this is done on our native fescue areas.  After a long winter, there are always areas to reestablish from seed.  Hydroseeding is a combination of seed, water and a recycled paper mulch that helps protect the seed and keep it moist which leads to faster germination.  In these areas, we use a fine fescue mix of Creeping Red, Chewings, Hard and Sheeps Fescue. The concoction is agitated in a tank and sprayed.
