Floratine Co, who make a full line of foliar fertilizer products that we use at HCC, just came out with a new product. This spray can, similar to a paint can, allows a superintendent to mark turf areas and come back at night with a UV light and be able to see. This has potential to be very handy. I immediately think of tournaments like the member-guest. We start mowing at 4:30 am in order to be finished by the shotgun start. Fairway mowers in particular have a difficult time seeing the edge of the fairway. This could lead to not cutting close enough to the edge or even scalping into the rough. While you wouldn't paint the edge of all 18 holes, this would allow us to "dot" the fairway perimeters on the first couple holes, giving the operator help before the sun comes up.
