Driving range

Ken and I are committed to making the driving range experience similar to the rest of the Club.  Today, during periods of light rain, we were working on a few details at the driving range.

For one, the bulky benches have disappeared and were replaced with attractive Adirondack chairs.

The crew works to edge the cement pad at the range.  Ken recently purchased 3 new 'Turfhound' brand hitting mats for your use during times when hitting off the mats is required.  These new mats are user friendly compared to those we have been using.  They are a much softer surface and realistic which make practicing more enjoyable and easier on the ole joints!

We have added additional landscape material as well.  21 Knock out roses were added to the beds.  I am looking for more perennial plants and shrubs to add color to what is most golfers first impression of HCC.
