As I mentioned yesterday, Cashiers paving got all of our paving repairs completed Friday. This will allow us to go back in and sod the edges and wrap the #15 bridge project up.
A majority of the staff is working this weekend while the weather is fairly decent. The forecast doesn't look promising...cold temperatures and snow on Tuesday. Once again...70* day temps and 50* night temps are the only things that will make grass grow! Given the upcoming forecast, have realistic expectations of your golf course if you plan to be here the first week of April! Turfgrass Management is a Science...there unfortunately is no magic to it. Also, realize most Clubs remain closed until May 1st on the plateau. Our April 5th opening is, and will remain, a soft opening.
