Greens Venting this Monday

This morning we started another green venting process using 1/4" hollow tines.  We were fortunate to have the rain move out of here early this morning after receiving over 1.5" of rain. 

Venting greens allows for gas exchange in the rootzone in addition to removal of organic matter.  Our major greens aerification using 5/8" hollow tines will take place December 2nd.
