Weekly Update

As last week ended quite wet it looks as though the beginning of this week will be much the same.  With an 80% chance of rain today and coming off of almost 4" last night we hope that things will turn around through the later part of the week.  This years rainfall totals so far have set up the chance to exceed our 90" average which places us of course as the only rain forest environment east of the Rockies.
On the golf course this week we are looking to lightly topdress greens and possibly spike greens.  Along with that our weekly maintenance of edging heads, drainage, and yardages is on the schedule for this week.  We will be continually mowing the new PG sod and of course our other regular maintenance.  Because of the rain we will not be mowing fairways today to help reduce the amount of damage that we would do rather than good.
