With the Ammonium Sulfate fertilizer application this morning, we also started up the irrigation system for the year. Any fertilizer application requires immediate irrigation in order to solublize the granular prills and to work them into the soil in solution. It is still rather cold in Highlands, in fact, a chance of ice and snow on Saturday!
