Today we are applying round #2 of our snow mold application. Snow molds are fungi that attack turfgrass under snow cover or in cool, wet weather. This fungi can remain inactive throughout summer months becoming very prominent into the late fall and winter seasons. Preventative fungicide applications are the most affective way to prevent and recover from this. You can see to the right a small active spot on #17 approach.
