RAIN

A slow moving weather front coming through since early Sunday morning has brought about 2" of much needed rain to Highlands.  It has kept up indoors today working on more hazard stakes as well as cutting 2 x 10's to size for our new raised beds on the nursery lot.  You will see more on this in the near future.  We will be adding 36, 12'x3' raised beds behind the new landscaping on hwy106/ Cobb Rd.  They will serve as cutting gardens for members as well as vegetable gardens.

This rain is good to wash sand in the aerification holes on the greens and tees as well as water all of the fresh sod we recently installed.  We were blessed with great weather for the contruction projects but now I am grateful for the rain!
