Aeration Schedule Reminder

Just a reminder that on Tuesday, October 20th, we'll be aerating all tee boxes on the golf course.  We'll be using large 3/4" hollow tines but will withhold any application of sand until after the golf course closes for the season on November 29th.  Other maintenance practices coming up include:

Aeration of Approaches: We'll start this process sometime during the first week of November and it will take about 5 days to complete.  We do our best to stay out of the way of play, but it's critical we get this work finished before our seasonal labor departs for the winter.

DryJect Greens: DryJecting greens is scheduled for Monday, November 9th.  We will DryJect all putting surfaces two directions like we've been doing for the past 15 years.  Just like approaches, its important this work is completed while we have abundant labor but more importantly, before the putting greens freeze.

Practice Tee:  On Monday, November 9th, we will also be aerating the range tee with 3/4" hollow tines.  The cores will broken up and the tee cleaned off.  Sand will be applied in December.  Also, be advised that starting November 1st, the hitting stations will go to mats for the entire month of November.  However, if you'd rather hit from grass, have at it.  Feel free to grab a leather bucket of balls and find a safe spot anywhere on the tee.  This has always been our policy on the practice tee.
