Thursday

The weather these past two days has been brutal!  Very cold with high winds...some gusts were recorded at 60 mph or more.  Still, we installed another 10,000 square feet of sod!

Also today, I got some low drone shots for an upcoming green committee presentation and thought I'd share them for all to see.  These first three photos are my attempt to capture the refined slop on #17 approach.

#12 and #14 green: sod is scheduled to arrive on March 13th to begin sodding the putting surfaces.

On #10, you can see Satulah Mountain, with frozen trees, off in the distance!

On #10, all the sodding is complete for now until we are able to pave the cart path.

Tim and Wayne are preparing the tunnel for a new coat of paint this spring.

At the intersection of Dillard Road and Hudson Road, we cut back a lot of Rhododendron for improved sight lines.  The area was sodded today.

A newly grassed 16th hole!

Above, this area between #14 and #15 under the trees was once a sea of pine straw and is now turf!
