You can now officially see the new shape of the new 14th green. While the contours and elevation both changed, the shape of the green remains fairly consistent except for the front right, where a couple hundred square feet was added to reorient the green to the fairway. It is difficult to see on this photo, but there will be a false front on that right side with a short, but much steeper slope on the front of the green and into the approach.
On #10 silt fencing is being installed to contain the sediment on our dewatering site once it is removed from the pond. After there is plenty of time for the sediment to dry, it will be hauled off site using dump trucks.
We are doing quite a bit of rhododendron trimming, including cutting back the shrubs surrounding #17 back tee. There is a no longer a wall of Rhododendron surrounding this tee. While it will not give us anymore sunlight, it will allow for additional air movement.
On a few fairways, we are reshaping the slope around basin inlets. Doing this allows fairway mower reels to get a good cut around the basins and it also makes it easier for water to make its way to the inlet.
And finally, both employee housing structures have the trusses covered with plywood.
