This weekend, and I mean all day Saturday and Sunday, the crew hauled soil to #12 constantly, load after load. We are fortunate to have the employee housing project taking place at the same time because it was the soil from the site prep, that was used on #12! The approach on the left side of the green no longer exists because the green encompasses that area. The total additional square footage added to this green is close to 1,000 square feet. You can also see the left bunker was dramatically enlarged while the bunker on the right, did not change at all.
Above and Below: This is a good before and after photo showing the original green cored out (below) and the new green cored out (above).
If you recall, there was a chipping area on the left side of the green that sloped off the putting surface pretty hard. That is no longer here because it was built up and the green expanded in that area. Please understand that we are at the stage of the project where our architect, Ron Forse, will make a site visit and tweak anything he feels needs it. This is a "roughed in" stage. After he approves the subgrade and bunker lines, we'll be able to start bringing it all together.
