Never in a million years did I think that would be a headline for one of my blog posts! But, here we are!
I’m often asked why some people’s dogs kill grass where they urinate while others don’t. The answer to that is the ammonia level in the urine. Some dogs have toxic levels when it comes to grass and plants while others don’t. While I’m not a Veternarian, I would assume diet, genetics and how much water the dog drinks, plays a role in that. This bear has enough ammonia (source of Nitrogen) to give the area a little green up but not enough to kill the grass- yet, anyway.
