While the Spring Fling event was taking place yesterday, the golf course team spent the afternoon at the back of the practice facility prepping our 5,000 square foot nursery green for seeding. All of the older turf was removed, including the Poa annua unfortunately, to make way for 5,000ft2 of Penn A4 creeping bentgrass. This bentgrass will be used on several potential upcoming projects that you'll hear about in the near future, once the Green Committee and Golf Architecture Committee has a chance to vet them.
