The 3rd hole green complex is looking beautiful with the extended approach and the flowering Rhododendron backdrop!
The Fine Fescue germination on the areas on #3 and #11 is excellent. It's now time to go back and start spraying the weed growth that occurs when areas are thinned out like this. Our goal is to only have grass growing on these banks. In the next week, you should start seeing the taller vegetation wilting and dying. An herbicide application was made on Wednesday afternoon in these areas and will be followed up in another week with a second application.
